finally here, and the Pines Pantry is looking forward to opening our doors
to all. We know how uncertain 2020 was for all of us, but we are glad to put it
behind us with a new hope that things will get better from this point
forward. We also hope 2021 so far has
been better for everyone!
above, we ARE opening our doors to allow customers to come in and shop. We know
that you missed browsing the aisles, interacting with the staff, and we’re very
excited to welcome you back. That said, we do have some guidelines.
are taking every precaution to keep our customers safe. We will sanitize and
clean throughout the day and will enforce strict mask wearing for our
employees and customers. We will even have masks if you forget yours.
the season goes on, there’s a chance we will be restricting the number of
people in the store at one time. We remain very optimistic in a slow return to
normal, but being optimistic means watching to see if we need to fall back to
operating as we did last season. As many of our customers know, there can be
big crowds that enter the store at one time and we just want to err on the side
of caution. We’re hoping this is not the case – we are a small store with a
limited staff – but we’re keeping our eye out and doing the best we can for the
community. We’ll keep you updated.
opened two weeks early last year, we had a large employee pool to draw from since
most of our college and high school age employees were sent home from their
respective schools. During the height of last season, we went from a normal of
50 employees to a high of 75 employees. This year we will be starting with just
our managers and some of our high schoolers on the weekends. This means we will not be accepting e-mail or
phone orders at this time.
last season was incredibly difficult for both our employees and you, our
customer, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigated
through last season as best we could. Your continued
support means so much to us and we thank you for supporting our store. We are
extremely grateful to you.
